Regardless of which order I follow, I haven't ever seen any indication in Dolphin that it's connected to a GBA. I've also attempted to connect by following the previous steps, but selecting GameCube as the link type before closing VBA and launching Dolphin. None of the GBA-dependent features in Animal Crossing activate. My understanding is that the two emulators should now be connected, although I haven't been able to accomplish that. The GBA splashscreen plays in VBA, but nothing happens in Dolphin.
